01 · THE STORY

Raise a glass to fall in Baraboo.

Baraboo Oktoberfest carries Saturday into the evening with live polka, seasonal food, locally brewed Oktoberfest beer, and playful traditions at Circus World. The celebration begins with the Tour de Prost ride from the square, followed by the tapping of the golden keg.

The program connects Wisconsin’s German roots with a setting that is unmistakably Baraboo. The BaraBrew Wisconsin Bierchoir opens the music at 3:30 PM, Griffy Jim and the Polka Dots perform from 4–6, and the headliner begins at 7, with German food, Oktoberfest-style beer, traditional pub games, and costume competition filling the hours between sets.

02 · WHAT TO EXPECT

The schedule includes the Baraboo Beer Choir, Big Griffy Jim and the Polka Dots, costume and stein-holding contests, and an evening performance by the Mike Schneider Band. Food vendors add brats, pretzels, schnitzel, wine, and other festival favorites.
