01 · THE STORY
New voices meet one unforgettable screen.
The Baraboo Indie Horror Film Festival brings independent cinema to one of the city’s most distinctive landmarks. The Al. Ringling Theatre’s ornate interior gives the screenings a sense of occasion while filmmakers and audiences share work made beyond the studio system.
The program presents three independent horror films that are not rated by the Motion Picture Association, followed by conversation with producer, director, and writer guests. Movie props will be displayed, and the official guidance places the program at 18 and older unless a younger attendee is accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Independent film feels especially alive when creators and audiences share the room.

02 · WHAT TO EXPECT
The program centers on independently produced horror films and the people who made them. Between screenings, the theatre becomes a place to compare favorites, talk craft, and appreciate ambitious stories made by small creative teams.
