01 · THE STORY

A deck, a board, and an hour well spent.

The library’s pop-up game session gives children ages 6–11 and their families an easy place to play together after school. Familiar favorites and learn-as-you-go choices make the event welcoming whether a child arrives with a favorite strategy or is opening a game box for the first time.

The library describes this as a 45-minute children’s program in the Topham Family Foundation Auditorium for ages 6–11 and their families. Chess, Monopoly, Uno, and other choices give children several ways to join in, whether they want to teach an old favorite, learn something unfamiliar, or meet another player across the table.

Around a game table, problem-solving and laughter tend to arrive together.
