01 · THE STORY
Halloween takes over the campground.
At Baraboo RV Resort, Halloween arrives early in the fall. The confirmed newer event flyer sets out three weekends of campsite decorating, seasonal activities, and a Haunted Trail through the wooded property. The remaining dates are Saturday, September 26, and Friday–Saturday, October 2–3.
The resort is a real, tree-filled RV campground with gravel lanes, grassy sites, campers, cabins, and recreation areas. The guide’s custom visuals use those verified place features, but depict imagined moments rather than photographs from this event.
02 · WHAT TO EXPECT
Afternoon activities. A trail after dark.
The Saturday flyer schedule starts with pumpkin carving and crafts at 4 PM, trick-or-treating at 4:30 PM, an advertised free dinner at 6 PM, a bike parade at 6:30 PM, an ice-cream social at 7 PM, and a glow parade at 7:30 PM. The Haunted Trail runs from 8–11 PM. September 26 specifically lists adult trick-or-treating.
Friday, October 2, starts at 5 PM. The Haunted Trail is advertised for 8–11 PM. Ask the resort which activities are open to day visitors and whether reservations or admission are required.
03 · THE EVENING
Follow the glow through the trees.
Campground-scale decorations and the glow parade bring the wooded lanes to life before the trail opens. The flyer also mentions costume, pumpkin-carving, and campsite-decorating contests. Specific contest rules and eligibility should be checked with the organizer.
Wear shoes suitable for gravel and a layer for the cooler late-September and early-October evenings.
